Smokey's BBQ Pit & Patio is the largest licensed outdoor patio north of Toronto,Ontario. Our customers drive in from all over the northshore and upper Michigan to find great outdoor fun. The BBQ pit is open from 11:00AM until 2:00AM in the morning. (See our menu for details) The building will hold up to 850 people!
Smokey's was formely the Algoma theatre which you used to host great movies up until the the mid 80's. The creative owners decided to take the roof off the old building while still leaving the walls and structure. They then build a second level over lookin the entire site, build a huge cabana style bar in the middle of the property with a stage and dance floor at the north end. All this combined with creative decorating gives it a true tropical feeling. Our customers tell is it feels like they are on vacation when they entire the property!
To top it all off, the building is attached to Top Hat Billiards (which is a very well known Sault Ste Marie entertainment complex. You can travel freely from outside to inside with your food or beverage and enjoy both locations. Top Hat has over 20 pool tables, great food, sports bar, great video games, foozball, cold beer and much more! So if it rains or your just feeling like cooling down in an air conditioned fun filled environment, Top Hat will be ready to serve your needs.
